The statues could be of a higher quality though, and the scale is a but off sometimes.. Well, I must admit I really like the concept, but...The floor was displaced a looooot from the real one, so you're floating in the museum, something the elders will not stand for.The scale is wrong, a masterpiece of 80cm as a 5m long pice?It needs to improve as we have some options in the Oculus Home from the Victoria & Albert and the British Museum for free.. Early impressions:I've been waiting for an experience like this for some time now and unfortunately this 5 dollar app didn't quite deliver. I suppose the price might be a red flag as the level of polish, refinement options are directly reflective of it. I must say they did include a large amount of art, displayed in various rooms at a decent resolution. I must give credit for the narrated descriptions although I did run into a few instances where they did not happen. Overall, MOCOVE ARTS gets the concept right but stumbles on the execution...Pros:* Ambitious in number of works it presents* Artwork is fairly hi res * Colors are vivid & artwork really pops* Menu & teleport make navigation through the environment easy * Narrated descriptions * Nice musicCons* Unless you're facing forward, the descriptions appear to your side or even behind you! Most of the time I found myself prompted by arrows to turn completely around just to read the description! * you must use the trigger to enter the description but then the touch pad to leave it! * Artwork not to scale?I've seen many of the featured works in person and they are just not that big- most of the pieces seem gigantic! Would be nice to get a zoomed in view only when you click on it for more info.* Perspective seems a bit off- It feels as if you are floating a few feet above the floor... * Text 'shimmers' and is difficult to read... perhaps the option to increase font size & or sharpen the resolution & aliasing would fix this.* Finally, please add more customization options. Ability to choose or change music, anti-aliasing or resolution options etc.At this early stage I cannot recommend... GREAT Idea! But pure realization... i wish the room scale... I hope authors will make another version of this but with ROOM SCALE becase this is why we buy the htc and oculus,,, to FEEL this as a reality! This is great to see those paintings without travel to another countrys =). A hidden little gem on Steam. You walk around an endless museum full of paintings and artefacts from different ages, and each artistic piece is accompanied by both an oral and written explanation of its background and history. The graphical resolution of the art pieces is very good. Definitely a buy for art buffs and for all those who cannot afford to travel around the world to see all the artistic objects gathered in this virtual museum.. The idea is great, but...The scale of everything is totally wrong (HTC vive). The point of VR is to get a realistic sense of scale, and in this case, to enjoy the real size of sculptures and paintings.
